The rumors were put to rest. A battle record between two of raps iconic lyricists premiered live on The Fat Joe Show Friday, September 11th, as the Hip Hop community finally heard the Big Pun and Jadakiss “Face Off” song.

Originally confirmed by DJ Green Lantern when he made the announcement Saturday afternoon (September 5). Showcasing the cover for the unreleased battle record, Lantern wrote the following in the caption: “You heard the rumors… heard the stories .. is the song real ? .. does the song exist ?? and now — World premiere.. Big Pun vs Jadakiss “Face Off” .. this Friday 9/11 we shake the globe .. tune in to the @fatjoe show on ig live for the world premiere.”
